Our Story
Your friends at Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas have some exciting news. As we entered our second decade of providing Georgians with natural gas service, we changed our name.
Why the name change? Our former name, Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas, was an important reflection of our origins with Coweta-Fayette EMC, a local Electric Membership Corporation. Over the years, we grew our business across Georgia and expanded our natural gas services. We wanted something that reflected our philosophy, our character, and the way we serve our customers.
True Natural Gas is our way of expressing our highest priorities — honesty, integrity, and a straightforward approach to doing business.

Our customers and partners suggested we consider a name that simply and directly says who we are and what we do. Our customers can expect the same benefits that Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas customers have always enjoyed.
Our Partnerships
As a local Georgia business, we give back to the community every year by supporting local charities and programs. True Natural Gas operates as part of the Coweta-Fayette EMC family, with over 65 years of service to Georgia.
In 2007, True Natural Gas teamed up with Sawnee EMC in Cumming, one of Georgia's premier EMCs, to provide all the benefits of our gas service to its members. And in 2011, we did the same with Newnan Utilities, providing our service to the customers of one of Georgia's finest municipalities and public utilities.
