Savings for Senior Citizens
True Natural Gas is proud to offer discounted rates for qualifying senior citizens. This program helps fixed-income households manage their energy costs.
Who Qualifies?
- Must be 65 years of age or older
- Household income must be $31,300 or less per year
- Must be a residential customer of True Natural Gas
What Is the Discount?
- True Natural Gas discount: The Low Income Senior Citizen monthly customer service charge is $3.45, a savings of $2.50 monthly or $30 per year.
- AGL discount: Atlanta Gas Light also reduces base charges by up to $14 per month for qualifying seniors.
Combined, these discounts can save qualifying seniors over $200 per year on their natural gas bills.
How to Apply
Contact our customer care team to apply for the senior discount. You will need to provide proof of age and income.
If you select one of our Standard Fixed Price Plans, you pay for the gas you use at a fixed price per therm that is guaranteed for the length of the agreement. If you choose to terminate your fixed rate before it expires an early termination fee will not be assessed to Low Income Senior Citizens.

You will need to send the form directly to Atlanta Gas Light. Once they review and approve the request, the discount will be applied. The attached form was supplied to us by Atlanta Gas Light.
